Where exactly is the center of the world? What happens when three women meet to talk about eschatology and coloniality?

Three Brazilian artist-activists, writers, and story collectors, living in Berlin, propose to converge in original expressions and textualities from their perspectives, practices, and poetics. The initiative aims to crack colonial narratives and break hegemony. They and their texts will come together in a performance presentation to stimulate a conversation with the audience about coloniality and racism. The event is intended as a practical exercise in decolonial becomings, plural narratives, and processes of regaining self-determination through art, in order to break with simplistic evocations of center and periphery, of the world and its rest. In a mixture of dramatic reading, sing and original song-writing, the artists provoque the audience to think beyond the hegemonic narratives to understand that "we are more what we are than what we are lacking". A ritual storytelling, a nervours laugh, a bath of fresh leaves.
